As a festival, we want to make sure you get as much as you can out of your time with us at Family Fest as possible and so we have compiled some Volunteer Terms and Conditions to make it a good experience for everyone volunteers. Please read the Volunteer Terms and Conditions below before completing the 2025 volunteer application form.

As a festival, we will provide you with...

​

• Gaining experience in the events and festival industry

• Uniform and PPE as required for your role

• Access to the festival for the duration of the weekend for you (and 4 others - family or friends)

• A car park space in a dedicated volunteer-only parking area within the festival

• A camping pitch (if you would like to stay overnight) for either a tent, caravan or motorhome

• 1x hot food voucher (or 2x if shifts are longer than 8 hours) per day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (with other options available for Thursday and Monday)

• Water for keeping hydrated, available as and when required

• Snack food to keep energy levels up, available as and when required

• A quiet space to relax for all volunteers

2025 Volunteer Terms and Conditions

Family Fest defines a volunteer in this way: someone who is 16 years old or over, and is able to complete an assigned shift on their own.

As a volunteer, you confirm you:​

​

• Agree to attend a volunteer induction session (usually within 2 weeks of the festival)

• Agree to complete all assigned shifts

• Wear the appropriate PPE during the festival (pre, during and post-festival) as set out when attending the volunteer session

• Agree to (where necessary) arrange child care to enable you to carry out the shifts

• Agree to be responsible for your own safety and your belongings for the duration of your shifts

• Agree to represent Family Fest in a good format at all times - inappropriate behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated, this included the use of illegal drugs, excessive alcohol consumption or any disruptive behaviour​
