Trade at Family Fest

Trade with us for our 2025 festival in Wimborne, Dorset!

Join us in our 8th festival in the heart of Wimborne, Dorset, and join 50+ traders as part of our 2025 festival.

 

Bringing together a hand-picked, finest selection of small businesses, brands, and charities, 2025 welcomes over 2500 festival attendees across the festival weekend. Family Fest is the perfect opportunity to showcase yourselves, and whatever your business objective, we have something available for all businesses, brands, and charities.

As a festival, we cannot be held liable for damage to festival furniture or stock, and as a minimum, all traders require £2 million Public Liability Insurance and a full event traders risk assessment. Specialist traders including food, will require other documents to trade which we will confirm with you at the time of confirmation of trading.

Standard Trader

Trading; Saturday 31st May 2025 and Sunday 1st June 2025 with the choice to also trade with us on Friday 30th May 2025

3m x 4m Pitch - £60

3m x 6m Pitch - £100

Be part of our main festival traders at Family Fest 2025.

We have a choice of pitches available, with our standard pitch (3m x 4m), large pitch (3m x 6m), and bespoke pitch (larger than 3m x 6m) available for your business, or brand. We carefully choose all of our traders for our festival and have ample pitches to trade within.

As a standard trader, you will require the following; own gazebo, tables and chairs, £2 million or more Public Liability Insurance, full event trader risk assessment, and be ready for what the great British weather throws at you, rain or shine (don't forget the sandals or boots)!

Charity Trader

Trading; Saturday 31st May 2025 and Sunday 1st June 2025 with the choice to also trade with us on Friday 30th May 2025

3m x 4m Pitch - £20

3m x 6m Pitch - £30

Food Trader (FULLY BOOKED FOR 2025)

Trading; Friday 30th May 2025, Saturday 31st May 2025 and Sunday 1st June 2025

5m x 5m food pitch - £500

Be part of our food traders at Family Fest 2025.

We have a limited amount of food pitches available for 2025 and we are always looking for food traders who provide something different from the traditional food usually found at festivals. We carefully choose all of our traders for our festival and with our main food pitches, we will never duplicate, so you will be the only food trader of your kind within the festival itself.

If you are a trader offering cakes, sweets, cold food items etc, and not selling hot food, you will fall within our standard trading pitch (details above). If you are selling ice cream, donuts and other high selling food, please get in touch with us for a bespoke pitch quote for 2025 to hello@familyfestdorset.co.uk.

As a food trader, you will require the following; own gazebo, tables and chairs, £2 million or more Public Liability Insurance, full event trader risk assessment, food hygiene certificate, food certificates, local registration with your council, and be ready for what the great British weather throws at you, rain or shine (don't forget the sandals or boots)!​​

Traders Agreement Deposit

As a festival, introduced in 2023, we take a Traders Agreement Deposit on top of the pitch fee and if the below conditions are met on the festival weekend, your Traders Agreement Deposit will be returned after the festival. The Traders Agreement Deposit is 25% of the pitch fee added on to the invoice.

The Traders Agreement Deposit conditions:

  • You must trade at Family Fest in the specified trading hours as detailed in the application (standard trader and charity trader hours is 10am until 6pm on Saturday 31st May 2025 and 10am until 5pm on Sunday 1st June 2025. Food trader and other applicable traders when agreed at the time of application is 4pm to 9pm on Friday 30th May 2025, 10am until 9pm on Saturday 31st May 2025 and 10am until 5pm on Sunday 1st June 2025)

  • You must park in the dedicated traders car park area as instructed by the Family Fest team and you must not drive on the festival site at any time during our festival opening hours

  • You must listen to all instructions from the Family Fest team when you are on-site, including pitching correctly

  • Do not pack up or leave early causing blank pitches within the festival

In the event of any of the above being broken and not abided to, your Traders Agreement Depsoit will be forefited. 

Application Process

When submitting your application for Family Fest 2025, please email all business documents including your Public Liability Insurance and event risk assessment to us at hello@familyfestdorset.co.uk at your earliest instance.

Once your application has been received by the team, along with your business documents, we will process your 2025 trading application and get back to you within 21 days to confirm whether your business, brand or charity has been successful in the application process. 

 

If you have been successful, we will ask for you to confirm your acceptance and we will require full payment including the Traders Agreement Deposit within 14 working days to confirm your attendance for our 2025 festival. If we haven't heard from you within 14 days, you will be removed from our 2025 traders and you will have to reapply.

Once full payment has been received, we will confirm with you via email and text to your acceptance to our 2025 festival.

Our 2025 traders' application dates can be found below.

  • Applications Open: August 2025

  • Documents Due: At the time of submitting your 2025 application

  • Invoice Due: In full, within 14 working days of being issued and accepted

  • Applications Close: Friday 2nd May 2025 at 10pm

After the festival, we will write to you regarding your Traders Agreement Deposit and return this to you within 30 working days via your payment method.
