Where is Family Fest located?Family Fest takes place at The Meadows (Julians Field), Julians Road, near Julians Bridge, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 1EF (view the map below)

Is there first aid available on site?First aid will be available within the festival across the festival weekend, during festival opening hours, which can be easily found within the festival. The nearest A&E Department from the site, in case it is required, is either Poole General Hospital or Royal Bournemouth Hospital which is a 20-25 minute drive from the festival site

When is the 2025 festival?The 2025 festival takes place on Friday 30th May, Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June 2025 at The Meadows, Julians Road, Wimborne, Dorset - times to be confirmed in January 2025

Do we have to purchase tickets to access the festival?Yes - tickets are required to access Family Fest 2025! We have a selection of day and weekend tickets available including adult, young people and concession tickets as well as group tickets - under 9s are free for 2025. Further details via at 2025 Tickets.

Is there toilets available on site?Yes, there is plenty of temporary event toilets available on site including disabled access toilets

How much is it to park in our festival car park?Parking in our festival car park is a minimum donation of £1 which will go directly to festival charity, Cherry Tree Nursery, This is on a first come first served basis at all times and we don't reserve parking spaces

I am arriving by coach or taxi. Where can I get dropped off?If you are coming by taxi to our festival site, please park in our dedicated drop off zone just near the main gate on site. Please note that this is a drop off zone only and is clearly advertised on the way into the festival. If you are coming by coach to our festival site, please use the layby outside of the festival on Julians Road. Please note that you should not park here and arrange alternative parking before coming on the day. We have no large vehicle parking available within the festival car park and large vehicles will not be allowed to enter the site due a small incline at the gate - no lorries, large vans or coaches are allowed within the festival

What bus routes get me to the festival?Use our Festival Shuttle Bus service from Wimborne Square directly to the festival, with a donation to our festival charity. morebus provides routes 3 & 4 from Poole to Wimborne Square via Broadstone, Corfe Mullen and Merley as well as route 6 from Bournemouth Square to Wimborne Square via Rail & Coach Station, Winton, Bournemouth University, Wallisdown, Bearwood and Merley, and route 13/13a from Bournemouth Square to Wimborne Square via Bournemouth Rail & Coach Station, Winton, Northbourne, Ferndown and Colehill. What is the best way to get to Family Fest?The best way to get to Family Fest is via our Festival Shuttle Bus. Wimborne has an excellent road network by bus, walking, cycling and car and we will have a car park with limited parking available, but we highly recommend to leave your car at home or park at a distance and get a bus, train or cycle to Family Fest. Signs will be available from Wimborne Square and the A31 to direct you to the festival site in the quickest way, and please follow these signs for the safest route. Please do not park on the main Julian's Road at any time

What ticket types are available?Our 2025 ticket options and further information can be found here. We have either day tickets (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) or weekend tickets available as well as camping for families

Are day tickets available?Yes, day tickets are available (as well as Weekend Tickets) and can be purchased via our official festival website

When will I receive my Family Fest tickets?Your Family Fest tickets will be sent to the email provided at the time of booking, and will be attached to the booking email. Each ticket purchased will have its own page on the document PDF, with its only barcode for each ticket. If you haven't received your tickets via email, please email us at hello@familyfestdorset.co.uk.

When will tickets be going on sale?Super Early Bird tickets go on sale in July 2024, with various tickets available including day, weekend and camping options

Are there any discounts available on tickets?As a festival, we are proud to be able to offer the following discounts on festival tickets: 10% student discount for Bournemouth University and Arts University Bournemouth students as well as NUS cardholders 20% discount for NHS and Blue Light Card Free Carers Tickets (one free carer per a disabled person) To qualify for these discounts, please email us and we will send you further information on how to get the discount.

Can I get a refund, exchange or swap my tickets?We have a strict no Refund Policy. Therefore, we do not offer any refunds or exchanges on Family Fest tickets.

What is disabled access like on site?Our festival is based on farmland and so the terrain can be bumpy across the site. We will have disabled parking available, on a first come first served basis

Challenge 25 PolicyWe will be operating and enforcing a strict Challenge 25 policy at Family Fest. If you can’t provide valid identification when asked by bar staff, you will be asked to leave the site and come back with your ID. So if you are lucky enough to look 25 or younger, please make sure that you bring an acceptable form of identification. Valid forms of ID include: An in date photographic driver’s license or provisional licence A valid passport (not a photocopy). Out of date passports will NOT be accepted A Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card (showing the PASS hologram) Thank you for your cooperation in our Challenge 25 policy

Can I leave and come back to the festival?You will receive an entry wristband on arrival which will let you come in and out the festival, as long as you keep it on. Last entry to the festival site is 6pm on Saturday and Sunday

Is there car parking available?Yes, we have an onsite car park open from 10.30am until 7.30pm on Saturday and Sunday, available to all ticket holders. All types of vehicles are permitted in the car parks, including motorbikes and live-in vehicles, although it is not permitted to sleep in live-in vehicles in the car park. Please note that there is NO vehicular access within the main Family Fest campsite; cars must be parked in the campsite car park and all items carried in. Only the Caravan/Campervan and Accessible campsites can be driven into. All cars/tow vehicles in Caravan/Campervan sites can be unhitched and parked in designated parking areas. They cannot be left within the allocated pitch.

Do you accept cash and/or card?Yes, most traders accept cash and card and we always recommend bringing some cash with you due to the rural location of Family Fest. We do not have a cashpoint on site, and the nearest cashpoint can be found in Wimborne

Are we allowed to bring picnics, blankets and chairs?We allow picnics, soft drinks, blankets and folding chairs to be brought into the festival site. Please bring foldable chairs only, and note that we DO NOT allow gazebos, windbreakers or tents into the festival site

Are dogs allowed on site?Yes, we allow all well behaved dogs on site. Please note that you must clean up after your furry friend and they must be on a lead at all times due to the surrounding fields being working farmland with live animals within them

When will you be announcing the line up/content for 2025?We will be announcing our first wave of musicians and our 2025 content in January 2025

Can I cycle to Family Fest?There are no specific cycle-parking facilities, although there will be fencing to which you may secure your bike. We are unable to take responsibility for bicycles secured in this way. Please note, bicycles are not permitted on the festival ground.
