since the beginning...

2018

Family Fest was born, and the first festival took place at Branksome Recreation Ground in Poole, Dorset. The festival began as Spring Arts Fest, and we welcomed over 500 local residents to our first small event in the heart of the community.

2019

Back again after a successful first year in 2018, our second festival took place in June 2019 at our new home of Kings Park in Bournemouth. Growing from a small event to a small festival, we grew further bringing together over 1000 people across one day.

2020

2020! Where do we start? After planning our biggest festival yet, our plans were put on hold due to the pandemic and our plans were halted temporarily until June 2021 and we welcomed Virtual Fest, live across Facebook and YouTube.

2021

Our 2021 festival was all go and we welcomed over 1500 people across two days from across Dorset and surrounding counties to our new home of 12 acres of working farmland, The Meadows, in Wimborne, Dorset.

2022

And then a whole load of fun again in 2022!

Welcoming over 2000 people of all ages to our festival on the first weekend of July. Traders, musicians, charities, mascots - 2022 had it all, in our home of The Meadows, Wimborne, Dorset.

2023

2023, welcoming over 2000 people from across the UK with some special family members from the USA, our 2023 festival continued taking place at our home of The Meadows, Wimborne, Dorset, and was a rolling success.

2024

Our biggest festival yet, welcoming over 3,000 people across two days of fun-packed activities, entertainment, traders, food and drink at our festival home of The Meadows, Wimborne, Dorset on the weekend of Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June 2024.
